Early Years Construction

This collection includes wooden and acrylic blocks, colourful rainbow bricks, plastic interlocking blocks and mirrored block sets, offering children a versatile range of construction materials.

Construction activities support many areas of the curriculum for children. They encourage collaboration through turn-taking and sharing; inspire imaginative, self-designed structures; enhance descriptive and directional language; build spatial awareness; and allow children to explore the shape, size and weight of materials as they discover which pieces work best in safely creating their buildings.
